Our Practice in California

Dr. Michael Ottati is an East Bay native, graduating from De La Salle High School, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College, and earning his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley.

Graduating at the top of his clinical class at U.C. Berkeley, Dr. Ottati was the nominee or recipient of many awards and honors. These include the Vision Service Plan award, the OD Thesis Clinical Research Award, and the Greenwood award for excellence in clinical care.

Dr. Ottati was one of the first 5 optometrists in California to be certified by the State Board of Optometry to treat glaucoma and is excited to be at the forefront of eye care.

Dr. Celia Futch received her Bachelor’s Degree from UC Davis and her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley. Dr. Futch previously worked at a private practice in Tiburon prior to her recent move to the East Bay. Celia is also a Board Certified Ocular Nutrition Specialist.

Dr. Christabelle Trinh grew up in Laguna Hills, California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California Irvine and earned her doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Trinh completed her rotations at Pearl Harbor Naval Health Clinic, Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, and a well-established private practice in South Lake Tahoe. Dr. Trinh went on to complete a residency at Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System where she focused on primary eye care, ocular disease, and low vision. She enjoys practicing full-scope optometry and is glaucoma certified.

Outside of the office, Dr. Trinh enjoys traveling, music, exploring outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.
